Morning or Afternoon Horseback Ride
This guided horseback riding adventure begins at the Maui Trail Rides corral and will take you down the edge of Waihee Valley to the coastline. Enjoy beautiful views of the ocean before heading back up to the corral. At the coastline, our trail guides will take photos of you with the majestic seascape in the background.
This is a 2-hour ride with refreshments and a check-in time of 8:45 am for the morning tour and a check-in time of 12:15 pm for the afternoon tour.
All tours include spectacular panoramic views of the West Maui Mountains, the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, central Maui and the Haleakala mountain summit.

Driving Directions from Lahaina (West Maui)
-Take Hwy 30 South towards Wailuku
-In Wailuku turn right on Hwy 32 (also known as Main Street)
-Go down 2 blocks and turn left on North Market Street
-This will become Hwy 33 and then become Hwy 340 (Once you turn onto North Market Street, do not turn anymore)
-Maui Trail Rides is located right before the #7 mile marker
Note: Approx. driving time is 45 minutes but allow yourself extra time for traffic.
Driving Directions from Kihei & Wailea (South Maui)
-Take Hwy31
-At the intersection of Hwy 30 & 310, turn right onto Hwy 30 (this will take you to Wailuku)
-In Wailuku turn right on Hwy 32 (also known as Main Street)
-Go down 2 blocks and turn left on North Market Street
-This will become Hwy 33 and then become Hwy 340 (Once you turn onto North Market Street, do not turn anymore)
-Maui Trail Rides is located right before the #7 mile marker
Note:Approx. driving time is 30 minutes from Kihei and 40 minutes from Wailea but allow yourself extra time for traffic.

-From Hana Hwy 36
-Turn right on Kahului Beach Road
-Turn right on Waiehu Beach Road
-Turn right on Hwy 30

Note: Approx. driving time is 15 minutes but allow yourself extra time for traffic.
Restrictions
Maximum weight is 230 lbs (104 kg).
Minors must be accompanied by an adult/guardian on tour.
Circle M Ranch takes the safety of riders and horses seriously. Height and weight requirements must be followed for the protection of both guests and horses. Guests who do not meet these requirements may be denied participation, and refunds are not provided in such cases.
No prior horseback riding experience is required, but guests should have the physical ability to independently mount a horse from a mounting block. This requires strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. Guides will provide instructions and assistance with preparation, but they are unable to physically lift guests onto a horse.
Guests with health concerns, mobility limitations or physical conditions that may affect their ability to safely mount, ride or dismount should mention this during the booking process. Circle M Ranch reserves the right to deny participation to any guest who is unable to safely take part in the ride.

Where does the Maui to Lanai ferry depart now?
The ferry currently departs from Maalaea Harbor on Maui and arrives at Manele Harbor on Lanai. Travelers staying in West or South Maui should allow enough time for the drive, parking and check-in before departure.
Can vehicles be taken aboard the Lanai ferry?
No. This is a passenger ferry and does not transport rental cars or other personal vehicles. Transportation on Lanai should be arranged separately, especially for guests planning to visit Lanai City or destinations beyond Manele Harbor.
How long is the ferry ride between Maui and Lanai?
The crossing takes approximately one hour and ten minutes. Travel time and comfort can vary with ocean conditions, so guests who are prone to motion sickness may want to take their usual precautions before boarding.
